Worked under Prof. Monica M. Wilhelmus (Brown University/NASA/Office of Naval Research) and Daniel M. Watkins, Ph.D, and looked at data from satellites, buoys, weather balloons, and computer simulations to understand the thermodynamics of artic and how to separate the tidal impacts vs weather impacts on sea-ice
Used python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and modeling packages to process large csv files to plot heat fluxes and map temperature gradients across arctic regions over time
Interpreted 10,000+ temperature and spatial data collected from arctic buoys and calculated heat fluxes and sea ice velocities
